All Inclusive Golf – Greens Fees Included
Are you an avid golfer looking to experience a few rounds in a tropical setting? Would you like golf included with your next vacation package? If so, we have the top all inclusive resorts where your greens fees are INCLUDED!
Winter golf in the Caribbean is the ultimate golf getaway!
While many resorts claim to be “golf” resorts, most do not include any portion of your outing.
We’ll give you the run down on what to expect and where to book if golf is of interest.
Moon Palace gives you the option to exchange your resort credit for Unlimited Golf at their 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Our CEO absolutely loves this golf course and the option to stay in the Golf Villas, complete with your own golf cart.
With unlimited golf, you’ll enjoy inclusive unlimited greens fees, transfers to and from the course if staying at the main resort and all inclusive food and beverages. Can you believe Moon Palace Golf Club actually has two bars serving premium liquors, sandwiches and snacks that are strategically placed amidst the grounds so that you can access them from several locations during your round? That’s awesome in our book!
There is a shared cart fee currently set at $42/person. We highly recommend bringing enough balls with you since the pro shop is extremely expensive. Once your ball goes into the rough, there is a good chance it will carry into the thick mangroves surrounding the area and will be impossible to retrieve in many instances.
Caddies are not available at this course, however, there is a Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy on location. They have a very nice driving range for practicing your game.
The course is broken up into Dunes & Jungle, Jungle & Lakes, and Lakes & Dunes.
Another tip here: The course and jungle is inhabited by roaming coati, similar to a raccoon. While not a threat to you physically, the coati are very interested in items in your golf cart. They’ve been known to carry things off, so keep an eye out and enjoy your scenery!
When you are on the turn or done with your round, there is a full service bar and restaurant in the clubhouse at Moon Palace Golf Club. We can’t think of a better place to enjoy the end of a challenging day on the fairways.
Sandals leads the way in the number of all inclusive golf offerings. They feature greens fees included in Exuma, Bahamas, St Lucia and Jamaica. Complimentary roundtrip transfers and inclusive greens fees are a great added value to your resort all inclusive since very few resorts provide this perk. Keep in mind that caddies are mandatory and that you’ll most likely need to rent clubs and a cart (carts are optional at the Sandals Regency La Toc 9-hole on-property course).
Sandals purchased St Lucia’s only 18-hole course in 2017 and has recently upgraded the facilities and introduced inclusive greens fees to compliment the 9-hole course at Sandals Regency.
At Couples Negril, you’ll receive unlimited greens fees and transfers to the Negril Hills Golf & Country Club. We wouldn’t rank this course at the top of golf in Jamaica, however, it’s a uniquely fun place to play. You might have to wait for a goat crossing, but the caddies are a blast to play with and the course is serviceable. Our caddy’s name was “Fullwood”, and he took a few shots for one of us during play. All-in-all a fun experience.
Hard Rock Punta Cana
The all inclusive Hard Rock Punta Cana comes with “limitless” all inclusive. It’s a bit confusing, but you can use the “resort credit” for golf. You can play as much golf as you want on the resort credit. The “catch”? There is a 25% service fee due for the value of what you use on golf. If the listed greens fees are $200 a round, you’ll owe $50 in a service charge. Still, that’s not a bad deal for Caribbean golf!
Casa De Campo Dominican Republic
For the ultimate golf package with all inclusive, head to Casa De Campo in the DR. The world-famous Teeth of the Dog course is just one of 3 courses included on the golf all inclusive package! Unlimited rounds of golf at the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links are included, along with meals, drinks, accommodations, and a host of other activities.
